Tibor Varga Competition 2025 | Final

The next edition of the Tibor Varga International Violin Competition will take place in Sion from August 22 to 30, 2025 🎻
A total of 28 young violinists under the age of 30 will compete before an international jury chaired by Pavel Vernikov

Concertos with orchestra

An exceptional evening awaits you at the finals of the Tibor Varga International Violin Competition 2025! Our three finalists will each perform one of the greatest violin concertos, demonstrating immense technical mastery and intense musical expression. They face challenges of the highest order: memorization of a virtuoso work, perfect interaction with the orchestra and conductor, and the ability to rise above the orchestra. Accompanied by the South Czech Philharmonic conducted by Valentin Uryupin, they invite us to an unforgettable moment, combining emotion and virtuosity.
